This is a  sad thing. “The auction disturbs some animal-rights activists who say an agency in the business of confiscating illegal goods shouldn’t turn around and sell them because that only spurs demand. But Fish and Wildlife officials say they will use the money to preach conservation, and they’ve won some key backers.” (via Wall Street Journal)
