”La Bolla” by architect Renzo Piano
The “Glass Bubble” was designed by Renzo Piano during the G8 Summit held in Genoa, Italy on July 2001. It’s a greenhouse and acquarium.
Fun tidbit of info: Piano is currently designing the 72,000 square foot addition to the LACMA for traveling billboard exhibits. Piano beat out Rem Koolhaas as architect. The project is funded by philantropist Eli Broad.
